The Roasted Beef with potatoes is a classic main course of the festivities (and not), to be prepared when you have a little 'time to devote to the kitchen and want something special.
To prepare the roast beef in the oven, cuts of meat are the best sottofesa, the rump, the loin, shoulder, rolled or walnut; put in prior to losing at least two hours to be able to follow the baking of 'roast and potatoes that accompany it.

BUTTER COOKIES - biscotti al burro
150 gr butter, 100 gr sugar, 2 egg yolk, 250 gr flour
Combine
sugar with butter and egg yolk. Using a pastry blender, gradually mix in flour
until crumbs form. Chill
in fridge for at least 20 minutes. Once your dough is chilled, roll it out on a
lightly floured surface into a large oval. It should be about 1/2″ in
thickness. Now, with a cookie cutter, biscuit cutter, or drinking
glass, begin cutting out rounds. Bake cookies at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Let cool on pan for a bit and then move to a cooling rack to cool completely.
